With the lack of a back light, and its limited power consumption makes this a no buy for me. I do like the wireless capabilities, and I do like the idea of being able to carry 200+ books about with me, but I still think the technology isn’t up to par with what I want in an e book reader.

the thing only consumes battery power when you turn pages. Also, backlight puts a strain on the eyes. Would you even read a regular book in the dark? :P

For more information on ebook readers search Youtube for iLiad, eReader, Cybook or Google up ‘Mobileread Forum’. Tons of information about all these devices. Kindle is not the only player in this game.

I have no trouble holding the kindle comfortably and pressing the proper buttons. If you have a lot of trouble using a cell phone, texting , that kind of thing, I could see that, but otherwise it’s easy to hold and use. The battery is much more long lasting than that of a laptop, phone or Sony e Reader.

Better hope buying the books from Amazon isn’t the only way to put them on the device
