I have the nook and I love it, the new software smooths all the rough edges out. It’s battery life is not as good as kindles but it lasts long enough.
I’m going with the Sony PRS600. I’ve had nothing but good products from Sony in the past. I also like the ease of making notes on the Sony because its touchscreen and you can write directly on the screen.
Thanks for the review. Of all the reviews out there, I found yours the most informative.
Thanks for the review but I think you actually can drag your PDF files from your computer to your kindlke when they are connected . It’s free.
But it takes just 60 seconds to download – from anywhere in the world, at no cost! Global wireless. Is that such a hassle, for re-adding a book to your library?
But then to get them back I have to redownload them, which is more of a pain than just having them there at my disposal when I want to check information, show someone something, or share the book. I am thinking of the convenience factor for students or those who travel.
Actually if you run out of space on your Kindle just delete some books. If you want to read a book again just re-download it in your “Archived Items” section on your Kindle. Amazon automatically backs up all your purchases.
