Amazon Kindle

Here is the review for the Amazon Kindle. The Amazon Kindle is available on Amazon.com for 9.99 It uses the Sprint EVDO network to access data much like a cell phone without a wireless hotspot and most of all, it is free. It has 256 MB of internal storage and provides an SD memory card slot along with a USB mini slot, along with a headphone jack.

its not about storing all the books….its the ergonomics. I’d find it uncomfortable to study with flicking thru the pages on kindles on a small screen, can’t make notes on the textbooks. Although finding information might be easier than an index.

computers emit radiation, i wonder what this emits. plus, reading actual words on paper improves eye health. don’t screens decrease eye vitality?

I don’t think the kindle can support that… But it’d be a nice feature.

have a look at the plastic logic reader which is also e-ink but has a screen 2.5 times the size of kincle – the screen is basically the size of the office copy paper so you can just read pdf without re-sizing,,,,it leaves the kindle in the dust – both for work docs and also for recreational reading….it will be released early 2010…see demos on youtube….

i read free e-books at the moments on copy paper size docs…I was going to go for an iliad reader but now i want the plastic logic
